Introducing...
Hi friends & visitors...I'm Milkbone and I just wanted to say a quick hello. Hello! I'm around 2 years young and my breed is a heeler, also know as an australian cattle dog. I've been at the ranch for a while now, but I am getting a chance to go to a foster home. I am very excited to learn all kinds of new things and get some training. I will be learning my house manners so that when I'm adopted, I will be ready for my new family. I'm going to work on getting comfortable with new people and a new environment. I tend to be timid & shy when faced with new things, so my foster Mom is going to help me build my confidence. I'll keep you posted...Milkbone

Honey...dripping with sweetness
Hi there... soon to be adopters. My name is Honey and I'm going to share with you, a few things about me. I've heard the word sweet mentioned quite a bit. It seems that whenever that word is mentioned, the people are very happy and smile at me. It must be a good thing. I've been told that I am a golden retriever-border collie mix...I guess mixed with sweetness :) I love people and am super friendly. That gets me in trouble sometimes, because I like to say hi to everyone and I don't pay attention to my foster Mom & Dad. I tend to be submissive especially when meeting other dogs. Now, don't get me wrong, I really like to play with other dog friends and would like to maybe have a doggy sibling. I'm still young and in some ways puppy-like, so I have a lot of energy and I like to chew bones and stuffed toys that squeak! OH yeah...those kong things, they are pretty fun to chew and eat when filled with treats.
My house manners are improving while in my foster home. We play this game called NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free) all of the time. My foster brothers (dogs) and I have to follow basic commands before we can do or have anything. I'm really good at it. I can sit, stay, down and shake. I learned how to shake in 2 minutes flat. Did I tell you one of my favest things to do? Fly through the air catching tennis balls. I will ask foster Mom to get some pictures for you to see how high I can jump! I hope you like to play.
TTYL...I have to go and take a nap
